Tutorial: Geolocation App with Storyboards

Storyboards allow you to quickly layout your iOS app in minutes, so it is no surprise that many of our users have been asking for a sample app using storyboards. Today we’ve published Geolocations, a sample app that uses PFGeoPoint, PFQueryTableViewController, geo queries, and storyboards.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn about:

  • How to set up a PFQueryTableViewController with Storyboards
  • Displaying a list of PFObjects using PFQueryTableViewController
  • Obtaining the user’s current location
  • Finding nearby objects using geo queries

The source code for Geolocations is available on Github for you to download and modify. Be sure to check out our other Sample Apps, and refer to the iOS Guide for more information. Let us know if you have any questions.
